N.S. triples limit for minor injury insurance payouts in motor vehicle crashes

HALIFAX, N.S. — The Nova Scotia government is tripling the amount of money that people who suffer minor injuries in motor vehicle crashes receive from insurance companies, while also holding down premiums.Finance Minister Graham Steele said Wednesday the cap for minor injuries will go from $2,500 to $7,500 under legislation introduced by the NDP.The new limit will be indexed to inflation,
